On March 9, 2026, Microsoft announced the Frontier Suite, which delivers productivity, AI, security, and identity in a single platform. Microsoft 365 E7 brings together:
 
Microsoft 365 E5 – Provides the core productivity, security, identity, and compliance foundation required to run work securely at enterprise scale.
Microsoft Entra Suite – Enables secure employee use of all apps and AI by enforcing continuous, adaptive identity and network access controls.
Microsoft 365 Copilot – Your AI for work, grounded in the knowledge ofWork IQ, that puts intelligence directly into apps and workflows you use every day.
Agent 365 – The control plane for AI agents, enabling organizations to centrally manage, govern, and secure agents by extending existing Microsoft 365 security, identity, and compliance controls.

Microsoft 365 E7 is generally available from May 1, 2026, priced at $99 per user per month. Customers will be able to leverage a set of promotional offers aligned to Microsoft 365 E7, designed to accelerate customer adoption of secure, agent-enabled AI at scale. These promotions create a lower-friction entry point for customers to move from AI experimentation to enterprise execution, while enabling partners to lead with higher-value conversations around governance, security, and operationalization of AI agents.
 
Microsoft 365 E7 is designed for organizations that want AI to work across the entire business, not just in pilots or isolated teams. It equips every employee to work with Copilot and AI agents in their daily tools, while giving the organization a single, trusted foundation to run AI at scale.
 
M365 E7 combines the full E5 security and compliance foundation with a new, integrated AI stack delivered as a single, governed platform. Unlike past suites that primarily added features or workloads, M365 E7 introduces a human-led, agent-operated system of work where AI can take action, not just generate content. It also adds a unified governance layer for AI agents and cross-app intelligence that earlier suites did not include, enabling organizations to securely operationalize AI at scale.

From May 1, 2026 to December 31, 2026, 10 percent off on M365 E7 annual subscription for subscriptions between 10 and 99 licenses, 15 percent off between 100 to 9,999 licenses. 15 percent off an M365 E7 annual subscription for subscriptions between 300 and 9,999 licenses on triennial term billed annually/triennially.
